We, at JD Chapman Agency, take great pride in our servicing team. Every person on our team is fully licensed and able to handle to most complex of insurance issues. As an insured in our office you will be assigned a Customer Service Representative who will handle many of the day to day activities of your account as listed below. Each Customer Service Representative is also your primary contact for claims. We firmly believe that quick turn around and answers in claims are extremely important to our customers, and that is why we take a team approach in servicing your account. Please rest assured that we will always be available for any questions, complaints, or special claims handling as required. It is not our intent to sell you a policy and just disappear from the scene. Our team consists of the following: ERIC CHAPMAN – PRESIDENT: Eric is a lifelong resident of the Palmyra-Macedon area. He graduated from Clarkson University in 1972 and started his insurance career with Factory Insurance Association as a Loss Control Engineer. Eric has worked in the insurance industry for 34 years, 30 of them in the agency. The Certified Property Casualty underwriter (CPCU) degree was earned in 1995. His interests and activities include 25 years as a Rotarian, Elder of the Western Presbyterian Church in Palmyra and a Coach in Youth Basketball and Baseball. Interests include travel, gardening and fantasy football. Eric and his wife Edie reside in Farmington with their 2 children. Email: BRUCE CHAPMAN – VICE PRESIDENT: Bruce is a graduate of Palmyra-Macedon Central School (1980) and Alfred State College. After a career at Eastman Kodak, he joined the agency in 1990 and is currently Vice President and located in the Canandaigua Office. Bruce holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. His activities include a Trustee of the First Baptist Church in Macedon, President of the Victor-Farmington Rotary Club, Member of the NRG Referral Group of Fairport and a Youth Soccer Coach. TREVOR CHAPMAN - SALES MANAGER: Trevor is also a graduate of Palmyra - Macedon Central School (1992) and the class of '96 at Clarkson University. Trevor is the third generation of Chapmans to be in the business that was started by his grandparents, John and Doris Chapman. The son of Eric, Trevor worked as a hydraulic and pneumatic specialist at a local firm from 1996 until he joined us in 2001. Trevor resides in Farmington with his wife Julie and two children. He enjoys traveling and anything sports related. She resides in Farmington with her husband and 2 children. Lake Country Financial Services: Bill Bowerman - Lake Country Financial Associates, Inc. Bill joined the Agency in 1995 after spending over 15 Years with Metlife. He graduated from Victor High School and New Mexico State University (1976) and spent several years playing professional football before entering the insurance business in 1980. Karen Hotchkiss - Lake Country Financial Associates, Inc. Karen has been with the Agency for 11 years, since 1995.
